What are your rates? For on-site services: Residential: $50 hr. There is a flat fee of $25 for MCS to come to your home or office and provide on-site services. * For in-shop services: A written estimate, requiring your signature, will be given to you after your PC has been analyzed, and all problems to be fixed are recorded. Estimates are FREE, and there is NEVER a separate charge to analyze your PC. * 1 hour minimum for in-shop work. If service is to be performed at our shop, there is no charge for pick-up and delivery of your PC(s) or laptop(s).
Data Recovery MCS offers data recovery for your home or office PC's. Did Windows operating system crash on you? Or maybe a Trojan Horse virus formatted your hard disk? Well we can help you, and we will do our best to recover your important data. We can perform data recovery, and backup immediately thereafter. Your recovered data can be transferred to a CD, DVD, Flash Drive or another new hard drive, depending on the size of the data recovery and number of overall files that need to be recovered*. Data Recovery - $200 (Up to 50 gigabytes of data recovered) * Hard disk or flash drive not included. You must purchase your own new hard drive to be installed or provide a flash drive with enough space capable of holding your total amount of data to be recovered. MCS will provide you with CD's and/or DVD's for your data recovery, included in the cost. If re-installation of your operating system is required on a new hard drive, $100 will be added to the data recovery cost to cover labor, installation and troubleshooting time.
Web Design * Web design rates vary, depending on the type of web site. Typically, an HTML-based web site will cost $500, with $250 deposit after the signing of the contract, with the balance due upon completion of the web design and customer satisfaction. Larger or more complex web sites, including those that use a database, will be more. Total cost will be estimated during agreement. Web Design - $500 - $2000 Blog Design & Setup We can also set up blogs for those interested in blogging. MCS recommends Wordpress. We will set up your MySQL database, install your blog, and even outfit you with a custom theme. Blog installation & setup w/ custom theme design - $400
Webmastering You can also opt for a monthly webmaster contract with MCS. After completion of web design, MCS can become the "webmaster" of your site, providing you with the necessary updates to your site when needed. This is usually charged as a flat monthly rate of $100 per month. However, MCS is willing to work with those whose sites are smaller and which need less frequent updating, etc. Please contact us for custom pricing on webmastering for smaller web sites. Webmastering - $100 monthly Search Engine Optimization / SEO After web design, you may also choose to have MCS provide "SEO" services for your web site. This work is done to provide you with better search engine ranking on the major search engines on the internet including Google and Yahoo, etc. This means when someone searches for the keyword phrase you choose for your web page, your web site will be among the top 10 results that show up on the search engine. Search Engine Optimization ("SEO") is a very time consuming process, and the end results can take from 1 week to 6 months depending on how many of your competitors have web sites on the internet similar to yours. If you have many competitors with an online presence, the results may vary due to "keyword wars" which culminate from high numbers of similar web sites using the same "keywords". You may contact us for more info regarding "SEO" and the processes necessary for ranking your web site in major search engines.
