"I will tell you flat out geek squad are not professional technicians. most of them have no formal training or schooling in I.T. I currently work for geek squad and the customers computers I fix only deal with me so they know who works on their computer no 1 else.
the complaints i see is up there cause they lie and cheat & sometimes steal parts from customers computers.
that problem with antivirus xp should of only taken a few hours to get rid of. but they rather run from these 2 cds MRI aka face and customizer (aka agent tweaks)to hide the problem or hook it up to AJU which is agent johnny utah in which some yahoo over in god knows where runs dos scripts to attempt to remove the viruses in which they fail 99% of the time your pc goes back and forth over below standards repair & service.
I only been there for a short time but I can tell you that GEEk squad are noobs and amateurs. The black and white outfit with the lame badge is a psychological effect that they are #1. more like in the dumps.
Snobby college kids or high school kids yes but the managers are just as clueless and dumb as well.
Their service center aka geek squad city they do more damage there than if it the product was at the store. so find a lawyer & get it on the news. those investigative reporters love to expose stories with stuff like this. 1 thing best buy hates is bad pubilicty."

MCS has been testing Windows 7 Ultimate. Windows 7 seems to be a much faster operating system than past versions of Windows. We are testing the 64-bit version of Windows 7, and thus far are very happy with its performance.

If you are looking to upgrade from Windows XP or Windows Vista, MCS recommends Windows 7. You will find that Windows 7 looks much like Windows Vista, however Windows 7 has more options and customizations built into it. If you have a PC that is still under warranty, you may want to wait and buy another PC in the future with Windows 7 pre-installed. 

We have seen a few bugs in Windows 7 concerning certain software and drivers, which have led to the dreaded Blue Screen of Death. One particular bug that caused a B.S.O.D. and the computer to crash was Kaspersky Anti-Virus. Kaspersky has released Windows 7 beta testing version of their anti-virus, which should help remedy that bug. 

Most software and drivers will be compatable with Windows 7, and Microsoft is working hard to avoid the driver problems that people experienced when Windows XP was released and people upgraded from WinME or Win98.
